The Indus Internship Programme (IIP) – Summer 2026; received 269 applications from students representing 80+ educational institutions across 30+ cities of Pakistan. Following a rigorous application review and interview process, 35 candidates were selected under the General Merit, while an additional 18 candidates were admitted through the Visionary Tech Society (VTS) Merit Quota, bringing the total selected cohort to 53 interns. The General Merit category recorded an acceptance rate of 11.9%, with applicants competing for a limited number of positions in a highly competitive selection process. The overwhelming national response reflects the programme’s growing reputation as a merit-driven platform for youth development and practical learning. This programme directly supports SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth).
